The Village of Bourbonnais
constructed a 2.5 million dollar sanitary sewer interceptor in 2005. This sewer
extends from the Kankakee River to the intersection of Career Center Road and
6000 North Road. MG2A provided initial planning studies, route surveys and
easement acquisition, detailed design engineering, bidding and contract
documents, and permitting work for the project. We also provided a construction
phase engineering services, including, contract management, detailed
construction staking, as-built mapping, and on site observation and
consultation. The project required coordination with the Illinois Environmental
Protection Agency, Illinois Department of Natural Resources, Illinois Historic
Preservation Agency, Illinois Department of Transportation, Bourbonnais Township
Highway Commissioner, and numerous individual property owners. Our work
supported the Village’s successful, on time completion of this improvement to
serve important commercial development.
