Mike Gingerich, Ph.D., P.E., Managing Partner
Mike Gingerich is the Managing Partner of MG2A and
director of professional engineering services at
the
office in Bradley, Illinois. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in
general engineering and advanced degrees related to agricultural and
civil engineering from the University of Illinois. Mike has a broad
base of knowledge related to many of today’s important engineering and
development issues. Mike worked several years as department head and
professor of a college engineering department; several years conducting
research related to stormwater runoff, infiltration, and erosion; and
several years as a consultant at an international architecture and
engineering firm in Chicago before coming to MG2A. Mike has
been at MG2A since 1993. |

Todd Gereaux, General Partner
Todd Gereaux is a General Partner of
MG2A
with many
general management responsibilities at the office in
Bradley, Illinois. He earned an Associates Degree in
architectural engineering from ITT in 1983. Todd has since
distinguished himself as an excellent land planner and
project manager. His thorough understanding of construction
methods and costs is of great value to
MG2A
and the clients
Todd serves. Todd worked several years drawing house plans
and construction details before coming to
MG2A. Todd has
been at
MG2A
since 1984.

Don Mayes, General Partner
Don Mayes is a General Partner of
MG2A
working at the office in Bradley, Illinois. He earned an
Associates Degree in construction technology from Kankakee
Community College. Don has a valuable combination of
engineering design and surveying skills. Don spends a great
deal of time in the field evaluating constructed works,
troubleshooting constructability issues, and examining
failing or troubled infrastructure. He specializes in
providing fast track solutions to problems that require
immediate attention. Don joined the
MG2A
team in
1973.

Mark Schierholz, I.L.P.S., Associate Partner
Mark Schierholz is an Associate Partner and director of
land surveying at the office in Bradley, Illinois. He is a
licensed surveyor with over 30 years experience in the State
of Illinois. Mark has a great deal of experience with all
facets of surveying and provides excellent professional
leadership. He supervises the work of several crews as they
complete boundary and topographic surveys, construction and
building staking, as-built surveys, and map data collection. Mark worked as a surveyor and survey crew chief for
29 years before coming to
MG2A. Mark has been at
MG2A
since 1995.

Jim Earleywine, P.E., Senior Engineer
Jim Earleywine is a Senior Engineer at the office in
Bradley, Illinois. This title is meant to indicate the
highest level of engineering design experience and
knowledge. Jim has over 25 years experience working as a
professional engineer in Kankakee County. He has a wealth
of knowledge related to infrastructure and public works in
the area, especially in the field of water distribution and
supply and waste collection and treatment. Jim has been at
MG2A
since 2004.

Brian Hertz, P.E., General Partner
Brian Hertz is a General Partner of
MG2A,
director of professional engineering services, and the
manager of the office in Manhattan, Illinois. He has a
Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Bradley
University. Brian has distinguished himself as one of
MG2A’s
most effective project engineers, having mastered the
efficient application of CAD technology to project
management and design. He now helps train our newest
engineers and CAD professionals while managing some of
MG2A’s client's most successful projects in Will County.
Brian worked a few years in the field as an engineer in
Peoria, Illinois before coming to
MG2A. Brian
has been at
MG2A
since 1997. |

Rich Vane, P.E., Associate Partner
Rich Vane is an Associate Partner and project manager at
the office in Manhattan, Illinois. He is a licensed
engineer with over 25 years experience in Northern
Illinois. Rich has a Bachelor of Science degree in civil
engineering from Valparaiso University. He worked with Mike Gingerich for several years at an international firm in
Chicago and spent several years working for a mid
sized firm in the western suburbs of Chicago. Rich has
witnessed the expansion of urban development in Cook, Lake,
and Du Page Counties.
MG2A is glad to have Rich
on our team and benefit from his experience and leadership.

Bob Sluis is director of land surveying at the office in
