Northern Prairie of Manteno
is a proposed residential subdivision in Manteno, Illinois. The project
includes a mixture of typical residential one dwelling and duplex lots. Large
open water detention features with natural plantings are proposed to meet the
Village’s storm water management standards and water quality objectives. Large
open spaces and parks will benefit future home owners and existing residents of
Manteno. Northern Prairie of Manteno demonstrates a mix of traditional
residential subdivision design and today’s expectations for environmental and
ecologic stewardship.
