Lake
Charlevoix is a residential subdivision located in Green Garden Township, Will
County, Illinois. Our client was an early adopter of Will County’s conservation
design principles for a suburban form subdivision when planning Lake
Charlevoix.

worked with our client and Will County planning staff to put
forward a development plan. The work involved negotiating fair procedures for
establishing allowable density, identifying necessary variances from zoning and
subdivision regulations, and balancing the long term economic, functional,
aesthetic, and ecologic concerns of infrastructure, public open spaces, and
environmental features. Lake Charlevoix more clearly defined the meaning of
“suburban conservation design” in Will County.
