AutoCAD Professional
CAD Professional – The applicant should be proficient in
the use of AutoCAD with 2 to 3 years of experience specifically relevant to land
surveying, civil engineering, and/or GIS. The CAD Professional is expected to
understand and draft/design basic engineering drawing elements such as
cross-sections, profiles, parcels, and contours. The applicant should be able
to calculate construction material quantities and check plans for common errors
and conflicts.
Surveyor in Training
Land Surveyor in Training – The
applicant must have completed all degree and course work requirements for
licensure in the State of Illinois. Preference shall be shown for
applicants who have received a "Surveyor in Training " enrollment license from
the State of Illinois Department of Professional Regulation or equivalent from
another state. The surveyor in training is expected to work in the field
completing ALTA, boundary, and topographic surveys and setting construction
control while under the supervision of a licensed surveyor.
